That's strange.. I can watch movies from my CDs/DVDs and my both HDDs without any problems.. the same with the pictures and music.
Thanx a lot! after looking at your list I decided to install SP2 after all, coz I had a couple of drivers missing.. and you know what? That was the problem! Now the system is running flawlessly! Finally
I've ran this driver detection for a couple of times, it shows "You have all the latest drivers from cd/dvd installed". But hardware detection keeps founding a new device all the time- PCI device. and can't find any drivers...
Strange Species, you were right! Thanks again SP2 is not needed, XP pro->sp1->F-S drivers = usb devices work great hm, another question Did u have "No audio device" problem?when it's just not detected?
1) sp2 firewall must die 2) i've allways had a lot of hardware/software problems after installing Sp2. so SP1 is enough for me
I've got the Xp pro SP1 cd with integrated sata raid drivers (I don't want the SP2 installed). So the SP1 was installed in the beginning and right after that - the F-S drivers.. Maybe the problem is that the SP2 is required?
The reason i asked is coz if i plug the usb mouse or floppy in, the laptop freezes.. Though both of them have worked before the format in windows, and both still work in linux.. I think i've got all the latest drivers installed.. any...
I've made a modified XP pro CD integrated with drivers and i finally have it running. Strange Species, what usb drivers are you using?
