Clevo is clearly not accustomed to dealing with the public. I guess they don't have to sell directly to the consumer so they don't need to worry much about custumer service.
I have to admit that I have not tried it yet, but I was thinking of two identical CD's, that is, the same data stream being sent to both burners. I know that Nero allows this. I will have to try it though.
I went with one DVD burner and one CD burner. I had problems with an internal drive once and figured that it was worth having a backup. I don't use them both together very often, but it's nice to be able to burn 2 CD's at the same time...

Actually, I have had the same problem. I have never been able to get more than 4X burning with 8X media. The latest I've tried is Memorex, but no luck.
Not really. No one actually said that Alienware paints laptops. Someone just asked if Alienware would paint laptops. No deduction, hence no syllogism.
Has anyone had any experience, either good or bad, with the Discount Laptops in house extended warranty? I just got a 9860 from them and am thinking about adding the extended warranty, but would like to see if there is any feedback.
Any indication on how much it would be to upgrade from the first rev. 6800 to the new one?
Actually, these cards use a Clevo-specific connector. They don't use either the ATI or the NVidia specified connector.
