anybody else getting very unsightly oil buildup on the keys of the 700m? keys are starting to get very shiny on my keyboard...anybody know how to get rid of these stains? or are these permanent?
I just got an 8 cell battery for my 700m and wanted to see how the lappy would fit in my 12 inch shinza sleeve with the extended battery. it was a tough fit at first (real tough...had to stretch the corners of the top cover)...i left it...
go with the 700m...you won't be disappointed. battery life is friggin awesome with the extended battery, and the small footprint makes it extremely portable - fits snugly on any lecture desk or armrest provided at school.
funny how things turn out...i bought the 700m with the intention of using it solely for school..since then, i've been using it for nearly all my computing purposes, both at school and at home...that's about 6-8 hours a day. i haven't...

I just received the 12 inch zeroshock shinza sleeve today... it's a perfect fit for my i700m and feels pretty solid.
go to hitachi's website and download their powerbooster2k utility. put it in your startup folder and it will load up every time you turn on the computer. basically, on ac power, the hard drive will stay on full power all the time...and...
go to network connections in the control panel and disable wireless networks. that should do the trick..
ok never mind...just figured out the 700m fits...
