Not sure where you got the adapter but its not even close in specs according to this. Not sure what model Acer Aspire one you have but this would be more what you need...not very often an adapter for one computer works on another..you...

does that model come with any other processor options,,that may be the way to go....

Don't know if you know or not, but there is no one here from Toshiba..We are just a bunch of people like you with some laptop problem solving experience

We're you having issues that prompted you to change BIOS, or just change because there was a newer one..if you sort this out, I would recommend in future to not try and fix something that ain't broke
