So I had the apparently-common cl56 issue where the machine gets stuck in standby mode and won't boot. I reset the bios and all was well. Reading a bit, i determined that updating the bios might be a decent idea to getting rid of this...

I am having the exact same problem with my chembook and cannot locate the jumper in the ram compartment. usually i'm pretty decent at finding this stuff but it eludes me at this point. Any help would be much appreciated as school starts...
