Hmmm. I've checked my Fastbuild settings, and I have 2 arrays, each a 1 disk stripe. Obviously a 1 disk stripe doesn't mean a lot, but it works for me and Norton Ghost can see my drives no problem.

I haven't had to use it in a while (touch wood). I seem to remember it doesn't support PnP, so try plugging in the USB key before you boot.
Personally, I'd put Bart's PE on a CD http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/ boot off that, copy the files you need, either via network or a USB hard disk, the reformat the machine. Once a machine gets into this kind of state, it usually not...
Thanks for the info. I might also look into a CompactFlash or PCMCIA adapter. That way I can leave it in all the time without it sticking out.
