I looked it up on dells site the Dell 1500 seems to be there draft N option.. from what I can tell its a mini pci form factor and should be able to fit in the standard minipci slot. Someone correct me if I am wrong

I have it.. and I have no Complaints whatsoever with this display.. Its brightness is even and there is no sparkling problems
On mine, with the latest omegas installed, when i go from ac to battery to ac the screen flickers and after a few minutes i get display corruption... if i turn power play off i dont seem to have either problem
No I dont have any "dark area" problems whatsoever. And yes I do have the samsung display.. Knoppix Identifies it as SEC5557 I believe. Guess I am one of the lucky ones
I just got mine the other day, with the WUXGA screen and I love it... I think the sparkle thing is more mass hysteria than it really is a problem... In my opinion the screen is great and I love it. Tony
