it's doesn't matter what band it is. plus IBM using samsung already.
1. you can get 1GB RAM by $63 on internet, just search for it. (samsung band)
2. 7200 is much faster than 5400. however, 7200 is not necessary for vista. you can run vista on 4200 tho, but speed is an issue.
3. i think 3 years is good...
z60 has x600 with OpenGL, i think it should do better on gaming.
v3200 is base on FireGL. their performance are similar on gaming but you can get z60 with much lower price if you would not do any 3D graphing.
