Just an update, I tried to just add the os on the second drive to my bootloader, however it will not boot.
So apparently it needs to boot directly off that drive, so the original issue remains.
I have had a thinkpad t30 for years and have been using linux on it as my primary os, however I have a contract job that required the use of windows.
I went out and got a second hard drive for it, but have been getting sick of changing...
