well from what i can see they retail for $380 (that's the cheapest i could find), must places for $400. so while not the most spectacular deal, definately not a rip off, although lowering the price will net you much better results much...

do you have any cords or electronic devices (a cell phone perhaps) placed near it? that is often the cause.
