I disabled the page file on my system some time ago in the hopes of increasing performance. There were no noticable effects, either positive or negative. The system seems to run fine either way.

In my opinion, having an external WiFi defeats the purpose of having it in the first place. What kind of problems are you having with your internal card? I've had no complaints with mine.
