their driver site was down, but it is now up. there are no vista drivers that i saw for either the 9860 or 9890 (that's all i bothered to look for)
has anyone else noticed this?
this sounds familiar ... i believe the motherboard is going bad ... something got burned out where the ac adapter plugs into the motherboard... just a vague recollection from another poster

i'm hoping drivers will work for my hybrid ... my laptop was orginally a 9860 but after 2 motherboard blowouts, i have the 9890 motherboard... the only vestige of my old 9860 is the nvida 6800 video card

your motherboard is dead ... this is not a power issue as it relates to the ac adapter or battery, but rather the connection with the motherboard. get ready to spend $400 - $500 for new motherboard.
