I don't know about voltage and multiplier, but if you want to check, right click My Computer and click properties and see if the speed is 2ghz on the front page. If you don't see it there try it again. Mine fluctuates from min to max...
Try going to your power consumption options and setting it to Always On.
I have a similar issue, but I have an i9300.
I have NV42 as well (I had my original VC replaced w/ a refurbished one because the original one would only O/C to a 305mhz core). My clock settings are 360/775. Seems to be stable during what I've thrown at it. I got a score of 4269...

My video card (GeForce 6800) in my new i9300 can't o/c its core over 305 (stock is 290). Shame shame. Don't know what to do. Dell won't replace it... I don't think. I tried once already, but I didn't know how to prove that my v/c was...

Wow.. I hate you! I just got my computer and the damn core won't O/C past 310 . Do you think applying AS5 will help at all? It won't O/C using that "optimum" test even at idle temps. My setup is i9300, 1.86gHZ P-M, 512MB...
