I have an DVD-R/DVD-RW (8x/4x) DVD+R/DVD+RW (8x/4x) DVD+DL (2.4x) drive in my asus m6bne it's made for it it's the Matshita UJ-831B i bought it with my laptop it was manufactured in October 2004

omg i just got this laptop and upon opening the box this thing is magnificent i'm loading software tonight, but just as far as looks go this is the nicest laptop i've seen! probably because it's mine now......hahaha
