I don't think mine is too heavy. In fact, I think it's lighter than my old i8100.
Good setup. I'm not sure about the price though. My rig in my sig only cost me $800.

If you really need that 5% performance increase and don't care about loud noise over 5400rpm drives, then hitachi 7k60 (or the upcoming seagate 7200.2). Otherwise, your best option will be seagate 100gb 5400.2 momentus.

Originally I was going to upgrade my 30gb 4200 to 60gb 7200, but after looking at some reviews, 7200 isn't that much faster than 5400 but noiser. So I'll be on the lookout for a nice seagate 100gb 5400 deal.
If the problem fixed in the new BIOS doesn't concern you, there is no point.
