The latest drivers from synaptics features PalmCheck which can help alot with accdiental touching. It works great for me. Try it out

I'm seeing the same kind of thing here. It gets back up to speed after several minutes or so, but it's pretty dang slow after I close a game.

So, I have a 9860 84xxx serial with the orginal 6800 without the heat sheild. How much would it cost to get the ultra put in? Too early to know?

I have the same situation as van. I'm pretty sure that to have the plate put in costs like 400 bucks or something.
