They didn't even come up with it, and it will be slow. All it is is QEMU that they are using their name on. QEMU + QemuX is free and ends up being the same thing.

Have you checked the electronics floor at MBK mall? They had a few different sized ones when I was there a few weeks ago... Acer seemed fairly popular when I was there, I saw some with X700 graphics, and then a bunch of ones with AMD...

Well, if you want a good 'gaming' laptop that doesn't weigh a ton you have something like the Asus Z71v or the Acer Travelmate 8104. A lot of the laptops listed above don't even have graphics at x700 or 6600 level, which are about twice...

Hmm, but my desktop has SATA and PATA and I have different things in device manager (intel motherboard)... I don't know how it all works on these. Need to look at the chipset docs sometime.

Doesn't access only slow down when the slower drive is in use? So you'd only notice it when doing HD to DVD transfers? If you have a dedicated SATA port it should show up in device manager. I have a translator in a desktop system...

Perhaps wait a bit if you can? That price is pretty good that you showed. But once all the other 7200RPM drives come out (which is any day now, finally), I bet that one goes even lower...

The only major difference between the two is you have more customisation options on the Z71v.
