Yeah too bad about hypermemory. It is like the turbocache thing on the low end gf6200 mobilities (i think).
The Acer Travelmate 8104 has a 128MB x700 in it, so it is also a good option. Performance is similar to the Asus listed above.
I can't look since I can't be bothered to install flash just for a storefront. Most likely xmeld is selling the -barebone- for 799, while the base model is different at the other place.

'higher' resolution is an understatement though. I think the A4 has an absurdly low-res screen for being 15.4". If not for that it'd be pretty nice.
