Well, there isn't one yet. Most manufacturers don't use the Sonoma for a DTR, that is the reason I think. They just tend to use a P4 or an AMD in them... And, the heat generated by an X800 or 6000go is a bit much for a smaller...

Yeah, some movies do put black bars in... However (for the top and bottom bars), a -lot- of widescreen movies are at 2.35:1, so you'll just have less black than someone with a 4:3 screen would (most widescreen LCDs are 16:10).
I use it every day after work when at home. Not sure how many hours that is (it is always plugged in though). Perhaps from 1-4 hours a day on weekdays, and up to double on weekends if I'm bored.
Well, considering 99% of notebook users (the people on this forum are not a normal subset of people who use notebooks) probably only think they can use the drivers from their manufacturer, this is a good thing.
I thought the X300 (ok, I know this for a fact on the desktop side) was the equivalent of a 9600 (9600 mobility in this case)? The ATI spec page misses some details so I couldn't verify on the mobile part...the desktop one is a lower...
Its not as fast as the 7200 RPM, even though it has a higher platter density. I'd think if you had enough RAM that the 100GB 5400 would be more than fast enough though, it only comes into play during loading sessions and the extra RAM...
You know, for most of us with either an AMD or a Pentium-M, the memory bandwidth isn't going to matter a lot until FSB changes. For a Pentium 4 system, bandwidth is pretty important though. Most of the Sonoma platform laptops do...
