Depends. I get HD into my home in San Jose, CA from Comcast. But the key point I'm making is that it wont be 480p analog for very long. If you got an HD supported card, it would be able to play both digital and analog. What you get...

I wouldn't get anything that didn't accept and display a 720p or a 1080i signal. When you buy an analog tv device, you are not future proof...like you would have been if you purchased it back in 1980. -Lox
