I stand corrected.. however, for me the noise that the twitching fan made was far more annoying than the louder white noise I have now.

Did you send your laptop in for the HDD replacement or did you do it yourself? What laptop do you have? If it's a 9860 it sounds like your bios have been updated to fix the twitching fan problem.

Just an FYI.. I installed the 'continuous fan' patch and they really aren't all that loud.. much louder than they were before but nothing compared to my desktop.. if you have a TV on or are playing a game with the sound on you barely...

That's a big negative.. that power supply is 70Wats max.. the output on the one supplied with the 9860 is 180Wats.

Running EQ2 in High settings, I typically get 30+FPS unless in a crowded city zone.. if in balaned I can maintain 30+ throughout. Someone asked about the extreme quality setting.. I wouldn't worry about that setting for a few years,...
