The reason I want to know how to remove the keyboard is because if the A5 has bad keyboard flex on the right side then I want to figure out a fix for it. Do you know where I can get a manual for the A5? Scott
I can't find a service manual for the Tecra A5. Does anybody know if removing the keyboard is as simple as a few screws like it is on IBM and Dell laptops? I haven't received the laptop yet but I just wanted to get an idea before it...
Thanks. I will do a review when I recieve it. I am looking forward to it's arrival.
everybody has a different tolerance level that they can deal with for keyboard flex. so i'm taking my chances on the A5. I have seen the M55 at Best Buy and CompUSA and the flex is there but not the worst I've come across. Scott
Hopefully the A5 does not suffer from the keyboard flex that the M55 does. If it does I'll remove the keyboard and see if there is an easy mod that can be done. Scott
I did call the 2 reps I talked too weren't 100% positive that it was internal. It just seems odd that this is the only Toshiba laptop that I've seen so far that has bluetooth v2. thanks scott
thanks..i just got back from a quick road trip to compusa and best buy and i looked at both the M45 and M55. I think I like the size of the 14" screen better. I will be taking this laptop with me a lot of places and the 15.4"...
Can you tell me does the fan come on a lot on the M40? From what I have seen Toshiba has some cool apps that allow you to easily configure the laptop. I am trying to decide between the M40 and the A5. Since the M40 has a 15.4"...
Can anybody verify that bluetooth on the A5 is internal? If you look at the spec sheet the only part number for bluetooth is a usb module. Also when you configure the other laptops you have an option for no bluetooth (wires only). Not...
no, it's a 14" wide screen notebook
