thanks everyone for your input. one last question. is there a certain place i should put the 2 sticks of 512? i.e. should it both be on one side while the 1gig is on the other? or will it not matter?

I know I can use one stick in it fine. But what I really want to know is if I can use 3 sticks all at the same time. Would I still lose the dual channel thing?

Looks like I'm going to have to. I just reformatted too and the last restore point is 7am this morning. Going to lose a bunch of stuff I just reinstalled.

I installed a WOW theme, decided I didn't like it and uninstalled. Now all my desktop icons are overlapping. The auto arrange and align to grid options dont fix them. Anyone know how to reset the desktop? Note: Dont install the WOW...
