I'm still loving my 3790 but here's my opinions about it: 1) The crappy Toshiba DVD burner. When I first bought it, it crapped out on me. It recently died on me and I don't have any money to buy a new DVD burner I'm running so...
I'm using the Catalyst 5 series (modded). The Catalyst 6 drivers don't work at all, whether it's the regular drivers but modded or the mobility versions.

Sorry, I'm in a rush right now so don't have time to go through all of these pages (maybe later). Is there anyway to get this card working in linux? I'm running Ubuntu by the way.
I bring my 3790 to school all the time. I'm an Electrical Engineering major and minoring in Computer Science. The moment I'm done with Windows (for Verilog and Java assigments), I go to Linux to design in Magic. It's very comforting...
yeah, Ubuntu is very nice. The forums for ubuntu are very helpful as well.
I haven't been able to get it working in Ubuntu...but then again, I haven't really tried either.
