This is what I have learned from my few days with Sentia ( new Name TBA).
By default the wireless card will try to connect with 802.11G, even to a 802.11B accesspoint. Some access points will accept the connection and still only deliver 10mbps.
On my college campus it won't work, so I had to go into the Intel ProSet, select the Network tab, Click Advanced, and Under Mode I selected "connect to 802.11b networks only"
