Actually Konqueror is quite incomplete and crashes often. I'm not a big fan of Firefox... Mozilla with Mozilla Mail is very well integrated. Just my opinion.

My boxed set worked fine on my Dell M70... but there seems to be a problem with Firefox... could be when Mozilla is also installed. Mozilla works, just not Firefox.

I'm surprised. I'd estimate Ubuntu's success on a plethora of different machine configurations to be much, much lower than SUSE. But obviously, if Ubuntu works for you, there is no reason to change.

The Codeweaver's (CrossOver Office) folks supposedly have much of Office2K3 working... will probably have a version out this year even that supports it. Just fyi. As always though, not all features will be supported.

You may very well need kernel 2.6.14 or higher to work. SUSE 9.3 would do better with this config, HOWEVER, fake raid configs usually don't work with Linux well. You may have to make the drives show up as plain ole drives instead of...
