There haven't been any Gateway stores since late 2003/early 2004. They had to close their stores down in order to get into Best Buy and other retail stores.
I'll put it this way - the next time I look at a new laptop, my Gateway will be the basis for comparison. It is hands-down the best laptop I have ever owned.
I used to use AVG - switched to Avast! and haven't looked back. Avast! is faster, has a better detection rate, and works more seamlessly with my system than AVG ever did.
I know that Apple has said that the "Mighty Mouse" will work with Windows - but they also said that you wouldn't get the diagonal scrolling with it. I wonder if someone is already working on a driver hack to allow that?
