I got my notebooks mixed up! Sorry luke. I guess the question should have been posted to the 7620 forum. Thanks.
I've got a question about the screen. The viewing angle doesn't bug me, as the unit will be for my wife and in her work, and she works with private info, so no viewing angle is actually a plus. As long as the screen looks good...
erisalit32, I've got one of those external HD enclosures too. I can't seem to see why the second USB plug is needed. My drives work just fine with the one plug used, and the second just hanging there. I guess some hard drives my...
OK, this is getting rediculous. Even the new Dell gaming laptop XPS 2 (see link below) has a 1920 by 1200 screen. Clevo better get on the ball ASAP! http://www1.us.dell.com/content/prod...pecstab#tabtop
Adam, Thanks for the responses. You are insightful and informative as ever. Personally, I'd rarely game above 1280x1024 (or the wide similar). Too much, too slow, etc etc. I use the desktop real estate for work, and 1920x1280 is...
Currently, it doesn't seem possible. No AMD laptop solutions use PCI-Express components, which is required for the X800. I'd like to see ATI step up to the plate on a chipset to support this combo. Like nVidia did for the desktop...
I've seen and used a Sony with their WUXGA screen. LCD can't get much better than that screen. It would be too bad if Clevo can't cut the mustard on what seems to be a simple supply and demand issue. But, then again, business is war.
Check this out: http://secure.hypersonic-pc.com/scri...id=Aviator_ZX5 Same machine as the 9860, but scroll down to the screen setup. They do have a 1920x1280 screen available. Super glossy type too. I wonder when PCTorque's...
Warden, all that "bit" and "engine" stuff is pure marketing hype. Sure they are different internally, but the real world numbers and output are what matter. The x800 blows any mobile nVidia chip out of the water...
I got one I'll share with you all. I sold my first Sager notebook via Ebay. During the sale I got suckered into "pre" selling the item to an individual in Indiana. I recieved the payment via Paypal, and everything looked...
