i have a little mini mouse that i use when i'm traveling...it's small enough that i can use it on the wrist rest, so i can use a mouse even if the machine is on my lap...i can't offer any advice on the touchpad though...

reporting the error just sends a log to microsoft...it will never fix anything...hence the term 'report'...i've had similar problems on prior machines, it was almost always a driver problem, like cacc suggested...gaming with 256mb also...

i don't think you can go wrong with either one...go with your gut...

the thing i don't get about widescreen is the 'more real estate' argument...won't the half inch wider screen be offset by the fact the resolution is lower? i'm only talking about SXGA vs WXGA here, being an Asus M6er that's all i ever...

tweak ui is nice...but if you really want to go all out, i also tried something called bb4win (blackbox), it's a shell replacement...if i could have gotten it to work correctly, it would have been sweet...i had problems with explorer...
