can you take out the dvd drive and swap it w/ a battery w/o powering down?
omg, 7.7 lbs??? thats crazy WHY is it a sonoma 533 but the ram only goes at 400? what BS hows the sound? is it the aziura (spelled wrong), or something like that?

i LOVE 2Berks coolmon setup on the right side. ive d/ed coolmon and i cannot customize it to anything that looks decently good 2berk, how did you do it.
so whats the verdict on this? is there a way to change the dvd drive to the second ide channel, OR if using an sata drive, is it automatically on the second channel, or is it the same as a pata drive on the first channel.

very nice lappy, from looking at it, it looks thin they could have gotten a better video cards tho, maybe an x700 colors are nice, i wonder if its plastic or something harder
one more thing noone mentioned was the little sliding switch for the optical drive. how does it work, and does the dvd drive just slide out when you slide the switch? or is the dvd drive screwed into the chasis of the notebook.
