so whats the verdict on this?
is there a way to change the dvd drive to the second ide channel, OR if using an sata drive, is it automatically on the second channel, or is it the same as a pata drive on the first channel.
lol, i actually have one of those in my computer desk side-draw. it take up almost the whole width of my draw

i remember my first computer a 486 either 66mhz or 33 mhz didnt have cdrom support. the cdrom connector wasnt even IDE. it connected using a cable ive never seen before or will ever probably ever see again.\

one more thing noone mentioned was the little sliding switch for the optical drive. how does it work, and does the dvd drive just slide out when you slide the switch? or is the dvd drive screwed into the chasis of the notebook.
