The keyboard on Dell's XPS GEN2 is definitely awesome compared to my 2 previous Dell notebooks (Inspiron 8500 and Inspiron 5100).
But it would be great to see fullsize keyboards at least as an option on Dell's 17"-inch...
I like the keyboard on my XPS GEN2, but why doesn't Dell utilize those 2 blank keys on the right side (above the left and right arrows) for some built-in functions like IBM Thinkpads, or maybe Dell can make both keys programmable?
I like the "XPS" highlighted on the touchpad, that looks really cool!!! I was hoping Dell would add something new like that on the inside near the keyboard.

Formula Red is cool, but it's a lot of color since the M1710 is so big!
I like Metallic Black best, and still keeping the black keyboard and trim around the edge would have been nice, I like that on my XPS GEN2
