It seems like with technology you can never get the best deal because it is always changing. I don't think there will be any drastic changes to the R4000 so maybe wait a little bit to see if they come out with any new features.
Dells are great if you have the money to throw around. Compaqs and HPs are the best bang for your buck period. I have never seen so many features for the price of an HP or Compaq. I love my R3000Z!!!!!! Thats my 2 cents
