Aw bummer... its only WXGA, not WSXGA... that makes me pretty sad.
Glad we found a definitive answer on if it would work or not. I have a USB adapter for the sheer convenience of the thing.

Hate to say it, but Dell has some pretty alright machines for a damned good price. You wont be turning any heads with your 620 though.
Before you went all frozen on it... I would try to slave it. It's possible that a connection became loose within the enclosure. Can you hear the drive spin up normally?
