New 6000D arrived today, installed 2GB of RAM and XP Pro. Never even booted the XP Home that was pre-installed. I like things my way.

FWIW: I would (and did) choose the 1.86GHz CPU over the 2GHz that was recommended above. The 1.86 is still in the sweet spot of price/performance and the difference in cost between it and the 2 GHz is not justified by the small...
I'll have my WXGA I6000 on Monday, and I'll try to remember to post about my thoughts on the LCD. I'm coming from a CL56, so I fully expect the viewing angles to be better. The vertical viewing angle on the CL56 is horrendous.

I've been very happy with both, though I tend to pick NewEgg more often than not. NewEgg seems to ship faster than MWave and definitely has a wider product selection.
Are you sure that it was placed on the Home site? If so, give Dell a call and ask them what's up. I've never been charged tax on purchases from Dell Home, but always have from the SB site.
The 6000D I ordered Monday night shipped last night, scheduled to show up Monday. The 2GB of RAM I ordered from NewEgg should be here today -- it was here yesterday but I wasn't home to sign for it. Can't wait.
