I have a d810, and i got the same problem... i will call dell today, if we all do this, maybe they will find a solution, I have heard that in some cases they change the motherboard.

how do you take the cover off, and will i lost my warrenty

ok, here you go... with d3mark 2003 with 256mb of ram 400mhz and a 1.73ghz cpu (i dont know if it was set to full speed, cause on the property it says 797mhz) so anyway: 3174

I know that a pentium m can change speed, but how can I adjust it, if I press maximum batt. it goes to 333 and if I set max performance it goes to 797mhz, how can I adjust the speed properly and why dell dont offer a good speed adjuster.

I received my laptop today, and I am very happy with it. the only thing that is weird is the up, down and mute sound button located on top of the keyboard. the down button work perfect, but to use the up and mute button I need to press...
