ATI just released new drivers with the promise to release new ones every two months, tho I realistically expect new one every three months. Better stablility, and performance, they seem to have gotten their act straight tho only time...

This laptop seems to be a good buy, and looks good. And it looks very compatible with linux. just ordered one of a BB.
