There could be a limiation on the chipset speeds that would limit the speed of the memory.
Personally I'm not sure what would fit in a C600 chasis, nor am I familiar with the C product line but there's probably not much chance of finding something better unless they released a new chipset revision than what you had or you had...
I would say probably not, anyone can feel free to step in and correct me. I should be getting a new 600m tomorrow so I'll let you guys know if it's a B1 revision.
