Thanks everyone but I'm deciding on which gui to use. I tried GNOME but haven't test KDE or XFCE. I was playing around with Knoppix using KDE and really liked it. GNOME just feels very limited compared KDE.
I unzip perl-5.8.8 then cd to the directory. Then the INSTALL said to perform "sh Configure -de". All was going good except then it said "I can't find make or gmake, and my life depends on it. Go find a public domain...
What is the correct syntex to put in terminal to download apps. I'm really trying to learn terminal commands without going into the GUI. I need webmin, thanks.
*Edit nm I found out "wget" but it seems I need perl installed...
I really don't want to install all this one app at a time.
* Gnetutil (Network Utilities)
* Itrace (ICMP traceroute)
Yeah, I'm trying to run Knoppix (Auditor LiveCD) sorry should have said something.
I need to run some of the software that on there. I would rather use Ubuntu but I haven't found anything online.
Also if there isn't a linux driver does...
