mine was 5100 3Dmark 05 NO OVERCLOCK 76.50 Drivers. One thing i like about the 9880 is the fans throttle up and down to keep the system running between 48C - 62C. It would be nice to have a SUPPORTED utility to adjust when fans kick on...

Link to thermal design power for P4 6XX series. Does this mean the 630 - 650 only use 84W at max speed and the 660 uses 115W of power? http://www.tomshardware.com/cpu/2005...main_unchanged
Go for it! I ordered my 9880 with 1024mb (2x512) and am going to add 2 1GB sticks for a total of 3072MB or 2.78GB usable by the 9880. So I will be wasteing 226 MB of ram but will have 2846MB Usable!
the motherboard is the same. It supports the 5xx series and 6xx series.
WSXGA+ all the way! I had a WSXGA+ on my 9860 and I can't go back to non-glossy!
