Stick with the WSXGA+. It will afford you better overall viewing quality. Especially, if you tend to read a lot. My brother has the WUXGA and he thinks that it is great. Personally, it's a strain on my eyes.
Well, I went ahead and purchased the Seagate 100 gb 5400 rpm hd. Didn't want to wait any longer for the 7200rpm. Actually, I figured since I have the mobile need, I'll use the 5400 rpm as another external when the 7200 rpm comes out.
Everything loaded and installed without any issues. Hmm . . . Can't really tell, just yet, the difference between the old 60gb 7200 rpm and the new 100 gb 5400 rpm.
Come on 7200!
ATI(All in wonder) 9600 Pro Turbo . . .
If you mean something like a 64mb Nvidia GeForce FX Go5200 vs. a 128mb ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 Pro Turbo, I can personally say that it is very much as Tummy has stated. Perhaps, even more akin to a Schwinn 10 speed Varsity vs. my Bimmer M3 . . . Lmao . . . Okay, I embellished a bit. Okay, my wife's G35? . . . LOL
Seriously, My personal experience is with FPS's, with regard to these 2 cards. Take for example the old Halo game...
Hmm . . . That may or may not increase the longevity of the battery. However, what happens if you are running your rig and the AC power goes out? Depending on what I was using my rig for, at the time, I wouldn't want to test any theories out.
Agreed, copper is the best and most practical conductor.
