Agreed my 9300 with the WUXGA does not have the dark corners either, and after viewing the other threads on the subject, people have finally gotten a good screen.
That's what I do, better to start off clean and you add what you want, than start dirty and clean off what you don't. Just make sure to get all the drivers on a CD rom or Thumbdrive before you wipe it.
There was a time not too long ago where nvidia was shunned for a notebook video card. Everything is in cycles. There may come a time where ATI has the best card again, I put the best card in the system, whether it's ATI of NVidia.
