I second Avast! Home, can't beat the price.
Did anyone try the chipset drivers from this page? It's labeled as Intel, but I'm curious if it's a misprint or not since the chipset on the laptop is actually a K8T800. Feel free to post info on newer drivers anyone else...

I tried them and noticed major slow-downs on the second test (right after the elevator scene), I didn't stick with thiese long enough to give them any other opinions.

Do you know if the video card is integrated on the motherboard (I would assume so based off info from the box) or if it is on a seperate card like other radeon mobility's. Just trying to figure out the cost involved with a damaged chip.
