On the subject of the generic 12-cell battery.
This thing works (obviously) in the 9200 up and the 6000's.
I KNOW someone has to have tried this out. The battery is made by a company called Hi-Capacity Power.

What kind of framerate were you getting?
I probably won't use AA/AF. As the resolution increases those aren't AS important. And for a fps . .. framerate is MUCH more important to me.
The quicksnap covers are just a rigid piece of plastic that fits on the top (backside of lcd) of the laptop.
They are available in :
some red cherry wood
and a light metallic blue

Make a shortcut to the exe file and put it on your desktop.
Right click the new shorcut and select properties.
The target line will read:
X: . . . \Battlefield2\bf2.exe"
Outpost runs specials pretty often on Corsair DDR2 Sodimms. They are PC4200 . . but they can be had for ~50/gig after rebate.
For that price . . . I think ANY "budget" should have 2 gigs if it's concerned about performance in...
I bought a Logitech MX900 when I bought my I9200.
It was the best wireless mouse I think I've ever used. . . but that's not saying a WHOLE lot.
I was happy with it and it treated me well. In the end, I prefer wired mice...
