updating drivers didnt help. its weird, i was able to get 200hz w/o the synaptics drivers installed and the touchpad still worked, just not the scroll buttons and special features. then i installed the drivers and eventhough it said...

Why is it that the synaptics drivers drop the ps2 mouse refresh rate to 60Hz?? it will go up to 200 w/o them installed.
nm that middle mouse button thing. but the 60hz refresh rate has something to do with the synaptics drivers. i uninstalled them and now im at 160 hz
i am thinking of installing mouseware on my 5680 so that the middle button works with ps2 and hopefully it will fix the 200hz refresh rate bug.. anyone done this?
now that thats "fixed" haha... anyone know how to get a true 200Hz refresh rate. i changed the setting in the mouse properties to 200, but my mouserate checker only registers 60Hz... it says 125Hz for the usb mouse

i do some... errr lots of gaming so i wanted the ext kb to reduce wear on the wasd keys. the ps2 mouse can be run at 200hz rather than 125 in usb (although i was only getting 60Hz when the setting was at 200). no biggie tho. ill just...
system restore saves the day. i'd still like an explaination if anyone knows
hello i plugged a ps2 splitter into my ps2port and plugged a mouse and kb into it. now the laptop kb doesnt work properly unless the extra keyboard is plugged in (it gets the wrong character). any fixes? thanks in advance
