I don't think the 7700 runs dual-channel. That is, you should be able to go chip by chip, without needing equal pairs.
I ordered mine on the 31st, and I'm still excited, albeit in a low-key sort of way. I've tried to keep my mind occupied by waiting on other things that won't take as long, and it's worked fairly well without diminishing my enthusiasm...
An Alienware Sentia might fit you pretty well. It starts at $1,649 and 4 pounds. 12.1 inch screen, up to 2 Ghz processor, Centrino, 512 RAM, etc. Nice keyboard, too. http://alienware.com/product_detail_...de=SKU-DEFAULT
Hmm, that's a rather odd problem. Call of Duty's system requirements are pretty low; I don't have any problem running it on high settings on my current machine, a two year old Dell with 512 RAM, a 1.4 Ghz Pentium M, and a 128 MB GeForce...
Yeah, if brightness (or screen quality of any kind, for that matter) is really a concern for you, the AW is better, hands down. The 9200's screen isn't particularly terrible, but it's nothing compared to AW's.
I don't think there'd need to be a BIOS upgrade, really. Of course, it's a possibility.
SXGA to UXGA is only a difference in resolution. SXGA is 1280x1024, UXGA 1600x1200.
Weight isn't that important, unless it's completely ridiculous. After you get used to it, you'll hardly notice you're carrying it around. Heat can be all but negated with the help of the right cooler. And if the battery life isn't...
With millions of companies to choose from, why worry about it?
If delivery time's the most important thing for you, the 560J should be quite sufficient. I doubt you'll see any real difference between the 560J and 570J. But, if it's really important to you...I don't know.
