for me yeah it was the latest version of XP Pro with SP2 already installed. As I';m sure you know there is the cd-key stuck to the bottom of your laptop....
I got the Windows XP Pro cd (with SP2 loaded), a drivers cd, a cd with Dell programs and then a recovery cd.....I also ran a program to tell me what the cd key is for the Windows XP that was already loaded so now I have two cd keys!!

I'm looking for a good quality back pack for my 9200.....at the moment I carry my Dell bag plus my work bag to work and I want to be able to carry both in a back pack....

I would advise going in the device manager and click on the options that you want to install dirvers for......
i.e. go to the properties of ethernet and update driver and when it asks for the location tell it the folder where you saved...
I use DVD shrink and shrink it to iso...so far I've had no probs....and the resulting file is about 4.5Gb.....from the HDD I can either play them or burn them using dvd decrypter......
Could someone please tell me what the Dell Diagnostics is? I downloaded it from the Dell website and now I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it?
