This is aweful. Bad screens, bad lids, poor quality! I got lucky. I don't have problems but it seems that is the exception, not the rule.

I read so much about whether Battlefield 2 works on this rig? Has anyone tried it?

In my case, Samsung is better than LG. On the Notebookreview site, on other notebooks, the LG is superior - this may be size dependent. I don't know.

That doesn't surprise me that the prices dropped. They created the hype for it and it's a strong computer. Sold a bundle at the high price point...but are now unloading the Yonah to make inventory open for the Merom...All of which are...

I am happy with my Samsung. I felt is was brighter and had less light leakage than my old LG on the D620 with Intel 950 GMA.

I personally don't like WXGA resolution. Although it is big, it doesn't 'smooth out' some images on software that I run. I am happy with WXGA+ on the D620.
