All I can say is WOW. I am glad I am returning my Intel with GMA 950 for the NVIDIA. The screen is brighter and more parameters for adjusting the screen are available. The viewing angle subjectively looks better.

Check your power settings. You can change the settings to always on, laptop, etc.
If you have Dell Quickset running you can change the settings to maximum performance.
It is used to save battery power.
