Thinking to get the X1 too, but $ 1599 for 2.5lb.. I really get a Sony S360 with 4lb with Better graphic, Screen, CPU, Integrated DVD in small forms. X1 is good competition for Sony X505 and T1 though

come with "integrated" DVD. bigger screen. ATI 9700 video. You added a D-bay optical drive is the same weight as S360 for X1

Sonoma kills the battery life, If you read on the review on FS550 and S380, most of them are running out in less than 3 hours while older Centrino can last 4 to 5 hours. Go figure...

So basically S380 is a slower than S360 and battery life will be half of 360 due to sonoma... what's the point of upgrading from 360 to 380?
A series will weight over 10lb with BIG AC adaptor vs FS550. Screen wise, A-series is better if you need BIG Screen. FS500 with Nvidia 6200 will be faster than ATI 9200.
