i know that rock dont let you upgrade ya system like PCT do.. so thats something to think about.. saves buying a whole new laptop....

it says 1699 uk pounds for a good one... but i dont see any options to upgrade or add ??? maybe they have put this up in a rush because PCT/Sager have theres out.. i will have a look when they have more options like PCT have....

Yep your right aussie..i forgot when i started out that the 8890V has only one channel... But i have left them on raid and see if its faster... Aussie.. i have 2 HDs both 40gb 4200 .. when they was on the ultra ide channels...

opps i forgot...does it matter if i split the HDs into 4 partions ???? and will it mess up a lot... and you was myrkat ..but i had to give it a go

nope it did not work windows installed ok and ran well with just 1 HD one raid the raid bios new my second HD was there...but would not put it on an array of its own but i am now going to try raid with the 2 HDs and see...
